Lesson Plan Format
A Spiderweb Lesson Plan Template
This lesson plan format is one of my favorites. If you are a visual learner like myself you will like it too...
In the center of the template you write your theme. You then fill out each box with the activities you plan for the week for each learning center in the classroom.
Here is a sample of some of the activities you might plan for the theme of "Me and My Family"
* Outdoor Play: build a house in the sand box.
* Science: Thumb printing
* Dramatic Play: Creative corner turned into a home.
* Books:
- 1. "What Dads Can't Do" by Douglas Wood
- 2. "Make Way for Ducklings" by Robert McCloskey
* Art Center: Self Portrait and draw your family.
* Math: Count and write the number of people in your family.
* Connection to home: Bring in a photograph of you and your family.
* Language Arts:
- 1. Stamp out your address
- 2. Fill out "All about me" page
